Adriana, Robyn & Shannon all agree, we created some really cool photos for their Graduation Portrait memories. In fact, it was downright cold on the day of the session. But for excellent photos they braved the cold breezes and “donned” their favorite outfits.
Here’s a Photo-Video of the Graduation Portrait Session:

Maria & Jacob are a really sweet couple and I look forward to covering their wedding this weekend in Galveston!

Chateau Polonex is a gorgeous Venue for a wedding and Creating Wedding Photography & Video! I don’t know how Kristian found it but I’m glad she did. The folks there are awesome as well.
Here’s a Photo-Video (a wedding video made from my wedding photography) for you to enjoy. The rest of the images are in the finishing stages of editing & enhancing and will be available for viewing/purchasing on my partner site.
University of Houston Wedding
Christine Bena & Clay Sanford…
…had an all the way University of Houston Wedding. First their Ceremony was at the glass encased A.D. Bruce Religion Center also known as the U of H Chapel. Then their reception was just a short walk away at the U of H Hilton. The food was awesome but I don’t know how much of it Christine & Clay were able to enjoy. They spent so much time mingling with the crowd of family & friends then participating in all the traditional (and not so traditional) wedding events.
I love photographing weddings at the University of Houston. The Chapel is like no other. and it always provides gorgeous wedding photography opportunities. While the couple were too busy with their reception to really take advantage the University of Houston landscaping, the wedding reception photography was filled with more than the usual amount of fun moments!
Check out this Photo-Video of some of my favorite moments.

Public Wifi Hacking
Seems like many of my friends & associates are getting their email hacked every week. This evidenced by the number of messages I’m getting CC’d to me & several other legitimate recipients but which contain messages that are obviously spam & which lead to sales sites or possibly outright dangerous sites. (Sites where you can contract a trojan or other malware).
I wanted to warn everyone about the issue and tell you how to fix this (if you’ve been hacked) & prevent it from happening again in the future. I was considering creating an article or a video where I explain all this but I have enough to get done today so I figured I’d let someone else do it for me.
I did a search and found this video that covers the issue thoroughly, concisely, professionally and is entertaining to boot! Here it is !!
Oh yeah, If one of your email accounts did get hijacked, usually changing the password to the hacked account will “fix” the issue. If you are one of those who received a spam message and went to the site, well you may (or may not) have contracted malware from the site. Some PC guru’s will tell you they can disinfect your PC but once you know your infected, you might as well reinstall the Operating System and all the programs (very painful) because there’s no telling what else is hiding on your system. (The hackers go to great lengths not to be discovered).
Check out my article on Online Malware Scanners to see when and why you should use them. I just updated the article to include only the active scanners that help remove the malware.
I was listening to Gavin Barry & Rob on ProPhotoShow.net, while they started answering the question about what qualifies a person to photograph a wedding. After listening to 1 and a half answers I really felt urged to answer the question myself.
Having covered my 1st wedding in 1981 and my first paid wedding several years afterward and having asked many post wedding folks (not just my clients) about their photography experience, I feel I am well qualified to answer this.
Take a listen and tell me what you think. (I didn’t realize the windscreen on the telephone microphone was missing so I apologize for the quality of the audio.)
What an action packed day at Grace this past Sunday. Here’s my version of the goings on.
I’ll be posting a link where GFC members can download photos sometime later this week.
Brides, let’s look a few months in to the future. You’ve enjoyed your wedding day, and you and your guests are in great anticipation to seeing all the Wonderful Wedding Photography that was captured.
Problem is that everyone is calling, texting, emailing and otherwise messaging you asking the same question. When can I see them. It’ll get frustrating after a while.
Here’s the solution! Have personalized cards created that already have the image viewing information printed on them and give them away at the reception! The cards should have the website where they can be viewed as well as a phone number to call if they have any problems viewing them (Otherwise any web challenged viewers will be calling YOU).
This sly solution will double as a wonderful memento of your wedding day. Your Family & Friends would want this creative card even if it didn’t have the information!
Studio Galvan understands how valuable this little used solution is to their wedding photography clients and gives it away as a part of their service!
Check out this Photo-Video some recent Wedding Thank You Cards we have created.

Jeffrey & Elizabeth get Married…
… at Lakewood United Methodist Church. Elizabeth has contracted me to capture her Wedding Photography in North Houston . The reception took place at the exclusive Raveneaux Country Club just a few miles away! I finally had the privilege of meeting the Grooms side of the Family. West Point graduate Lieutenant Jeffery Caslen was the young man about to enter into Wedded bliss. It was an extra honor to be covering the wedding of Lieutenant General Robert Caslen (a 3 star General)!
Enjoy some of their Wedding Photojournalism here on this Photo-Video.
Also enjoy Elizabeths Bridal Portriats!
